MK World Calendar!

Thank you for the feedback on the calendar features. I am happy to have created a public google calendar for MK Events to be added. Anyone who would like to add their event may do so. I will be moderating and keeping an eye on this but all MK World events are welcome on this calendar. From Major Seminar events to local meetings. I will not be adding local meeting information to the calendar unless specifically requested to do so. I will add Seminar events as I hear of them. If you add to the calendar please be sure to include contact information for the events. Please use hacker avoidance email addresses like this: you (AT) whatevermail (DOT) com .     Hi Heather.

    I hope you’ve been well. We met in Cortland last year. I’m the knitter who made the word search blanket for my dad.

    We’ve started a meetup group in New Jersey dedicated to machine knitting, and we’re having our first meeting Sunday, January 30, 2011, at 10 am in Hazlet, NJ, USA. We’ll be demonstrating intarsia knitting, and have 9 attendees scheduled to attend so far.

    Anyone interested in this or any of our future meetings can join the meetup group, get more information about demonstration topics and how to contact us, and attend meetings to share, learn, and socialize with other machine knitters – all this by going to the group, “Rapid Rows Machine Knitter’s Guild of New Jersey,” on http://www.meetup.com.

    We’re excited about our new group, and hope to meet many more machine knitting enthusiasts! Wish us luck, and please post this information on your calendar. :)
