Carol Scott Bio:
Recently retired, Carol has been a Professor of Fashion Design for over twenty-five years, teaching apparel design, patternmaking, tailoring, clothing construction and machine knitting. Drawing from her experience in the fashion industry as a designer and merchandiser, she strives to spark the creative spirit in students while at the same time developing their technical expertise.

Time: 9:30AM – 4PM
Place: Springfield, VA at Mount Olivet Church http://www.olivetepiscopalchurch.org/
Lunch: Potluck both days! Everybody bring something…or make arrangements in advance

    I am new to MK and interested in meeting others who machine knit in my area. I live in Northern Virginia. Can I just show up to this event or do I have to be a club member? Who do I contact?

    I have a knitting machine Brother KH260 (for bulky yarn) that I purchased new in Egypt in December 2009. I would like to find a nice home for it ($500 or best offer)

    Just dusted off my Studio Knitting Machine and I am having trouble getting started. Are there any groups that meet in the Northern Neck of VA. Lanaster Counnty???
